We shot this spot in less than 2.5 days or so with only a half day of scouting. Seems impossible, but Eskil Digernes is a real-life human hero. An amazing guy that would tirelessly trek in front of our camera and later became a friend for life. Years ago, there was this really nice geo tagging image service that Google later bought and shelved. You could access so many small parts of the world and find amazing photos that people had posted. Way more detailed than what you can find today. I used that service a lot during prep and for this shoot it worked amazingly, as we shot pretty much everything on the go. Sometimes when shooting in the mountains, that's kind of what you have to do. "The Adventurist" even won best online spot in Norway that same year. Not bad for a minimal setup, but sometimes you just need to right amount of talent.
